Cycle path of the Val Pusteria

The cycle path network of the Val Pusteria valley traverses the main valley and the most important side valleys and connects the villages and towns with the surroundings.

Gorgeous bike trips through woods, meadows and fields without being disturbed by traffic – this you can enjoy along the Pusterbike and other cycle routes in the Val Pusteria valley. Particularly popular by families with children is the cycle path which proceeds from San Candido in South Tyrol down to Lienz, the main village of East Tyrol. 40 km, mostly downhill, through the green meadows of the Alta Val Pusteria valley and then through the gorge of the Drau River with a final visit to the village centre of Lienz – a fantastic experience, also for less athletic people as the way back can be done by train.
